MH-DPB140Li FAQ
Q: The fourth green LED
rarely
lights up. Is the battery pack not holding a charge?
Not a problem. The fourth green LED will
remain off when the battery pack is being used. It will be lit only
when you press the battery gauge button while the charger is
connected. A three-LED display (red, green, green) indicates a full
charge on the battery pack. Likewise, a one-LED (red) display
indicates a low charge.
Q:
How long should I charge the
battery pack?
You should charge the battery pack for no
longer than 4-hours. Toward the end of the charge, the battery pack
will become warm.
Q: I am confused regarding
the polarity setting. Please clarify on how I should configure the
"+" and "-" on the adapter plug.
For 99% of the digital cameras in the
market, the adapter plug configuration is: "+" on the camera cable
to "+" on the adapter plug, and "-" on the camera cable to "-" on
the adapter plug. See illustration below:

If you want to make sure of the polarity
setting, you can double check by looking for the following diagram
near the power input connector on your digital camera:

If you see this diagram (which you most likely will), follow
the instructions above by matching the "+" symbol on the
camera cable to the "+" symbol on the adapter plug. |

 |
If you see this diagram, match the "+" symbol on the camera
cable to the "-" symbol on the adapter plug.

Q: The battery pack gets
quite warm toward the end of the charge. Is this normal?
The battery pack will become warm towards
the end of the charge. The PowerBank features an internal
thermoswitch which will shut off in the event of over-heating.
