    The original batteries still work great

    I have been using Powerex batteries for more than 10 years to power everything from my Canon camera to headsets to Christmas lights. They power my devices for a long time, hold a charge while stored, and re-charge over and over without problems. I use a Powerex C800s charger that slow charges and conditions batteries which helps I am sure. They are reasonably priced and I have only recently bought an additional set since my first purchase over a decade ago. The original batteries still work great.

    Qualities batteries for high-drain devices.

    These are some of the best AA NiMh batteries especially if you need high current output (i.e. for high-drain devices like a high power camera flash, etc.). Unlike nearly all other NiMh batteries, the parent company is in the USA and the cells are made in Japan. They are vastly better than ANY of the Chinese batteries I've tested and used including EBL, Tenergy, Nexcell, LaCrosse, and others. With the exception of Eneloop and a very few others, most of the NiMh batteries are from Chinese companies and often never come close to their rated capacity, are poorly matched, and/or don't hold up well to many charge/discharge cycles. You get what you pay for.

    These have higher self discharge than Eneloop batteries which means they'll discharge faster when not being used, But they will also deliver longer usage in high-drain devices (i.e. more flashes per charge, etc.). So for something like a TV remote control with low drain the Eneloop is the best choice. For a frequently used camera flash, motorized toy, or other device that drains batteries quickly, use these.

    Perfect for Launch Boxes

    Exactly what I was looking for to replace the batteries that came with my Magic Flight Launch Box. These last about four times as long in use, though have a shorter shelf life. However, combined with a high-speed charger, the overall battery experience is superior.
